Company Registration in Delhi

Company Formation / Registration in Delhi does not require any special procedure. The procedure is the same company formation procedure as followed in the case of any company in India, the only difference being the amount of stamp duty payable and the location of Registrar of Companies (ROC) Office for the State of Delhi. Now after full computerisation of the ROC office under the MCA 21 initiative it is not even required in normal course to visit the office of Registrar of Companies for forming the company in one particular state. Sometimes, in case of any procedural difficulty the visit may be required but in ordinary course now everything happens through the online process of MCA 21.

Stamp Duty for Company Formation in Delhi

Stamp duty rate for company formation varies from state to state. In Delhi the rates of stamp duty are give as below

Form 1 – Rs. 10

Memorandum of Association – Rs. 200

Articles of Association – 0.15% of Authorised capital subject to maximum of Rs. 25,00,000

The payment of stamp duty is also now integrated with the MCA system and the stamp duty for Delhi state can be paid online along with other fees for company formation.
